Personal Project
My idea for this project was to redesign the small Minute Maid Orange Juice carton that they used to give out at fast-food chains like Jack-in-the-Box.
When I was a kid, I loved Minute Maid, and as I grew older, I realized that their packaging could definitely be elevated to reflect its amazing taste. I aimed to put a fresh, minimal spin on the original, while still keeping the main components of the original design.

My initial brainstorm kind of shows what kind of vibe I was going for. I wanted to keep the serif font style, as well as the orange slice and leaves that the original box has. But I wanted the color palette to be brighter and the design to overall be more minimal.

Revision 1
I started by creating the graphics according to my sketch, but found it looked a little empty.

Revision 2
I then decided to add some leaves to the oranges to give them more color and fill the space.

Revision 3
For my last revision, I just played around with the positioning until I liked the way it looked.

The result is a bright, clean design, closer to styles that I have recently seen many larger corporations trying to emulate.
I wanted to make sure to still incorporate the key features of the original design. ie. the orange slices, leaves, and serif font style. As a result, I was able to produce a clean, modern rendition of the original!
